National STEAM Day on November 8th, 2023

We wanted to let you know about an upcoming event at Wheatland Elementary School.
National STEAM Day, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, will be celebrated on November 8th, 2023. At Wheatland Elementary, STEAM education is one of our pillars, and we are thrilled for this school-wide event.

STEAM education at Wheatland is about developing critical thinkers, collaborators, creators, innovators and contributors through a culture of integrated and connected Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics.

During our National STEAM Day celebration, your child will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities that showcase the fun and educational aspects of STEAM. This event not only enhances their academic understanding but also encourages their curiosity and passion for these subjects.

We encourage you to discuss this event with your child to help them prepare and get excited about National STEAM Day. Ask them what they know about STEAM and if there are any particular activities they are looking forward to. These conversations can enhance their interest and make the event even more enjoyable.
