School Supplies 2017-18

Dear Parents & Guardians of Wheatland Elementary School,


Teachers at Wheatland Elementary School are busy planning  for the 2017-2018 school year.  One of the topics of conversation every year is student supplies and we believe that we have come up with a great option for our families!  The school will be purchasing and providing educational student supplies to all of our students for the low price of $35 per student.  As a result, student supply lists will not be in the year-end report cards this year.  By purchasing our student supplies in bulk, we can take advantage of some exceptionally low prices, which will be passed along directly to our families.  Other elementary schools in GHSD have had similar school supply programs, and their families have been very happy with both the cost and time savings.

 

What are the benefits for our Wheatland Families and Students?

  • At the beginning of the school year, students will only need to bring their backpacks, indoor shoes and lunch kits, all other educational student supplies will be supplied by the school.

  • By having the school purchase supplies in bulk, it saves our families money, as we are able to keep each K-6 School Supply List to $35 per student.

  • This is not a fundraiser, all of the $35 per student will go towards educational student supplies each year.

  • This saves families money, and also time spent shopping for school supplies each summer.


As this is a significant purchase item for the school, we would appreciate your $35 per student payment as soon as possible.  Letters will be sent out with students today with further details.

**Families who choose to purchase their own school supplies can do so by referring to the school supply lists that can be found on the school website by the end of June 2017.
